International Enologist Wanted by Changyu

Yantai Changyu Group Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as Changyu Group), coming out of its Yantai Changyu Winemaking Company established by a well-known overseas Chinese merchant giant, Mr. Chang Bishi in 1892, is the largest winemaker in China and even in Asia. Its product portfolio includes wine, brandy, sparkling wine and healthy liquor, all selling well in China and are even well accepted in over 20 countries and regions around the world.

The period between 2005 and 2008 is of significance to the development of Changyu Group, as it needs to address the opportunities and challenges brought by China’s entry into WTO. It will speed up the process to merge with international practice and further expand its core business, accelerate its diversification. It will also improve its innovation to maintain its leading position in China’s wine industry and try to become a globally renowned wine-maker.

In order to be well positioned to address the opportunities brought by economic globalisation, Changyu is now recruiting senior wine and brandy Enologist from around the world.

Vacancy opened to: All around the world

Position: wine Enologist (people from Bordeaux of France is preferred) and brandy Enologist (people from Cognac of France is preferred)

Number of vacancy: 1 respectively

Qualifications:

• Above master degree major in winemaking (or with the national winemaker certificate), command of state-of-the-art winemaking
• Wine Enologist should be proficient with management of vineyard, winemaking for red and white wine, wine tasting. Brandy Enologist should be experienced with brandy distil, storage, management to cask and cellar and brandy tasting.
• At least 15 years of winemaking experience

Annual pay: RMB 1 million +
